Located in both Geraldine and Auckland, our Foodstore & Eateries are where the Barker’s brand comes to life. We offer visitors a taste of our products in a vibrant, welcoming setting. It’s more than a hospitality venue; it’s the place to showcase the best of Barker’s and where the brand comes to life. We’re now seeking a Business Manager to lead our talented team and drive the next stage of our growth journey.

About the Role

• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
• Manage financial performance of both locations
• Build strong connections within the local community and region
• Grow relationships with key customers and partners
• Expand our events and functions offering
• Work closely with marketing to elevate the experience and brand presence
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards

About You

We’re seeking someone who brings energy, leadership, and a strategic marketing mindset. You’ll ideally have:

• A passion for developing people
• A proactive, entrepreneurial approach to business growth
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience in hospitality, food presentation, and/or menu development
• Has the ability and willingness to travel between Geraldine and Auckland
