About the Role
As part of the Corporate Affairs team, you will play a key role in supporting our teams with contract management and operational legal advice. You’ll help structure internal practices, implement tailored legal tools, and promote a strong legal culture across the company.
What You’ll Do
Review, draft, and manage a variety of contracts (customer agreements, supplier contracts, NDAs, partnership agreements).
Provide practical legal advice to internal teams on commercial law, compliance, and risk management.
Collaborate with external legal experts for complex matters.
Develop templates, processes, and tools to improve legal efficiency.
Raise legal awareness through training or workshops.
Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with NZ regulations.
What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
Experience: Previous experience through internships or clerkships
Skills:
Strong understanding of contract and commercial law
Excellent drafting and communication skills
Ability to explain legal concepts clearly and pragmatically
Autonomous, detail-oriented, and organised
Collaborative mindset and proactive approach
